About the Role
The Student Services Coordinator is responsible for providing guidance and support to international students throughout their time at KI, helping to create a friendly and inviting English-speaking environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO), updating SEVIS and advising students on immigration status.
- Assist in maintaining school compliance with state, national, and organizational standards.
- Advise students on KI courses and products, collect lead information, and participate in conversion efforts.
- Engage in domestic marketing activities, including community outreach, phone calls, etc.
- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly activities, creating a monthly activities calendar.
- Recruit, procure, and place students in housing options.
- Deliver outstanding hands-on student service.
- Liaise with the national Customer Service team regarding course adjustments and adherence to QRF and CF processes.
- Manage cash transactions, including booking deposits and payments.
- Recruit and place students in internships.
- Provide university admissions guidance and counseling.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be aware of the designated safeguarding Lead for Kaplan Languages.
- Identify safeguarding concerns and respond appropriately.
- Complete assigned safeguarding training in a timely fashion.
- Report safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
- Be responsible for all aspects of student safeguarding and welfare in conjunction with school and company management.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (mandatory for DSO).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must be aware of who is the designated safeguarding Lead for Kaplan Languages.
- Must be aware of how to identify safeguarding concerns and how to appropriately respond to these.
- Must complete, in a timely fashion, any safeguarding training assigned.
- Must report any safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in the school.

Salary/Compensations
- At least $15 per hour or $31,200 per year for full-time positions.
