About the Role

We are seeking a Manager to expand our reach through strategic partners, focusing on payment security and Insights solutions in North America. This role involves developing and managing channel and alliance partner relationships, executing strategies for partner recruitment, onboarding, revenue activation, and growth. The ideal candidate understands payment solutions and data, and can forge mutually beneficial partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Define the desired profile of potential partners with management assistance.
- Research, identify, qualify, and screen potential partners.
- Secure commitment from qualified partners by presenting a compelling business proposition.
- Develop a joint business plan with sales targets for each partner prior to contract finalization.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospective partners to meet recruitment targets.
- Achieve assigned revenue targets through channel partners.
- Drive onboarding and activation of new partners, ensuring their teams are enabled to sell, market, deploy, and support Mastercard offerings.
- Engage Mastercard resources and stakeholders to support partnership objectives and sales opportunities.
- Manage channel pipeline and forecast reporting, tracking progress through the sales cycle.
- Conduct monthly partner alignment sessions to review pipelines, analyze win/loss data, and develop account penetration strategies.
- Collaborate with high-performing partners to create annual joint business plans with defined strategies and activities.
- Provide partner and market feedback to internal functions such as sales, product, and marketing.
- Assist in field marketing activities, including staffing trade show booths and delivering sales presentations.
Requirements
- Experience in the payments security and data space, with familiarity of evolving customer needs and partner landscape.
- Experience sourcing, qualifying, screening, and forming business relationships with channel partners at the CXO level.
- Experience managing major customer/partner relationships to drive growth and maintain transparency, trust, and collaboration.
- Strong personal network within the industry.
- Experience developing and managing joint business planning with partners.
- Strategic thinker capable of developing market opportunity points of view and taking action.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a build-it-as-we-go mentality.
- Enjoys working with people internally and externally, and is proactive in approaching new contacts.
- Commercially oriented, seeking out significant opportunities.
- A good listener and collaborator, willing to learn from others.
