About the Role
BSNB is seeking a Relationship Banker to provide excellent service to customers and identify products and solutions to meet their financial needs for branches in the Capital District. Join a nationally recognized bank and a capital region Best Place to Work!
Responsibilities
- Provide service to customers completing deposit and loan transactions, receipt and payment of cash, and other service related functions.
- Identify customer needs and offer appropriate product and service solutions.
- Perform personal account opening, closing, Certificate of Deposit (CD) renewals and other transactions of a complex nature.
- Serve as a back-up to the Relationship Manager.
- Maintain the ability to operate the branch independently, including branch operations and staff supervision.
- May be required to work at other branch locations.
- Saturday availability is required.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a sales and/or service oriented environment required.
- Prior cash handling experience required.
- Strong work ethic required.
- Attention to detail required.
- Ability to multi-task required.
