About the Role
As our On-Camera Host & Community Content Creator, you'll capture moments at our facilities, fields, and events, interviewing participants and celebrating achievements to showcase the impact of our programs. This high-energy role is for someone who thrives on camera and enjoys connecting with people, creating content that fuels our brand and attracts new families.
Responsibilities
- Be on-site at GTA venues 6 days per week, shooting daily across program schedules (weekday evenings and weekends are prime content windows)
- Host short-form interviews with parents, kids, coaches, and staff
- Create UGC-style vertical video content, including program highlights, registration moments, facility energy, and seasonal campaigns
- Recruit parents and kids for content on the spot (release forms handled via registration)
- Feed raw footage to the editing team on a weekly schedule
- Appear as the recurring on-camera personality in paid ads
- Collaborate with the Head of Growth on monthly content calendars mapped to registration windows
Requirements
- Exceptional on-camera presence: energetic, warm, funny, magnetic
- Athletic background or authentic sports credibility (played competitively, coached, or lives the active life visibly)
- Fearless approach to people: comfortable approaching strangers and engaging them quickly
- Comfort being the public face of a brand, including in advertising
- Reliable transportation across GTA venues
- Experience on camera (creator, host, sideline media, performer, on-air) strongly preferred; raw talent with a killer screen test also accepted
- Bonus: second language reflecting GTA’s communities (Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi, Mandarin, Tamil, Spanish, etc.)
