About the Role
Foster continuous sales growth in the Chelants market segment by working closely with key suppliers and internal personnel to support long-term growth. Collaborate with marketing, lab teams, suppliers, sales management, technical account managers, and field sales to establish and implement successful programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage business relationships with suppliers, including mapping and engaging interactions with management, technical, marketing, and supply teams.
- Perform detailed financial analysis and present findings externally to suppliers and internally to leadership.
- Oversee financial results and growth plans for suppliers within Beauty Care customers/applications.
- Assist in the implementation and execution of supply, sales, marketing, financial, and logistical strategies.
- Support and lead the negotiation of pricing and buying plans.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and accounts payable to resolve supplier issues and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Partner with marketing on campaigns, product pushes, and supplier engagement initiatives.
- Provide regular market updates and coordinate training with suppliers for the field sales organization.
- Mentor the Field Sales Organization and others on day-to-day issues, including pricing, service, procurement, and supply.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Chemistry).
- Understanding of Chelants market trends, including contract manufacturing, raw material suppliers, and applications.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical, sales, or product management, with a specialized product concentration in Chelants application.
- Proven analytical skills for developing strategic, data-driven decisions.
- Strong MS Excel skills required.
- Ability to develop and grow strong relationships with key suppliers and cross-functional partners.
- High level of decision-making ability, balancing supplier needs and company objectives.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage diverse and significant workloads.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Understanding of the chemical distribution business and functions.
Skills
- Microsoft CoPilot skills preferred.
