About the Role

Meta Product Managers collaborate with engineers, designers, data scientists, and researchers to build products, emphasizing AI-native development practices and rapid iteration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a product area, defining success metrics, prioritizing problems, and identifying product strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Adapt product strategy based on learnings and market changes.
  • Critically evaluate AI as a solution, articulating tradeoffs and risks.
  • Translate AI capabilities into product visions grounded in user value.
  • Develop AI-native strategies, including evaluation and data strategies, to enable iteration and quality improvements.
  • Leverage AI for opportunity identification through market research, user feedback, and competitive analysis.
  • Define product roadmaps and drive progress with cross-functional teams, resolving challenges and maintaining team health.
  • Reimagine workflows using AI tools to increase personal and team velocity.
  • Foster a culture of rapid experimentation and learning, particularly in AI-powered product development.
  • Scale AI best practices, including responsible AI use, across product teams.
  • Mentor other Product Managers and team members on AI-native practices.
  • Coordinate proactively with partner functions for product success.
  • Structure shared roadmaps for optimal outcomes.
  • Orchestrate complex execution across multiple workstreams using AI automation and human oversight.
  • Communicate product strategy and progress clearly to all stakeholders.
  • Use AI-enabled tools for prototyping, validating, and shipping product artifacts independently.
  • Interpret research and learnings to design product strategy and apply logical reasoning.
  • Understand system/architecture tradeoffs and their impact on user experience and business priorities.
  • Design and interpret experiments, leveraging AI for analysis, to drive decisions.
  • Define and run evaluations to interpret model outputs and adjust execution based on learnings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience, with at least 2 years in Product Management.
  • Experience working with a cross-functional product team on a significant product area, including crafting vision and strategy, defining requirements, coordinating resources, and driving milestones.
  • Experience managing a product through multiple life cycle phases.
  • Proven experience driving material change in product performance and team effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing large, complex datasets and making data-driven decisions.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to build products and prototypes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop AI-native strategies, including evaluation and data strategies.
  • Experience integrating diverse user requirements and context into a coherent product strategy.
  • Experience leading and motivating a product team and collaborating with partner teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in communication, conveying complex technical messages clearly to various audiences.
