About the Role
This role offers a rare combination of meaningful responsibility, high-quality mentorship, and flexibility. You will be part of a collaborative team handling sophisticated, high-stakes litigation for national and Fortune 500 clients. Associates are not siloed or relegated to support roles. As a key member of our team, you’ll work on a wide variety of complex civil defense matters, including catastrophic injury, product liability, wrongful death, premises and habitability claims, and warranty and other high-exposure litigation. From day one, you’ll receive hands-on experience: drafting pleadings, arguing motions, conducting depositions, managing discovery, and appearing in court. You’ll be mentored by experienced partners and given room to grow in a supportive, high-performance environment. Requirements
- Active license to practice law in California
- At least 3 years of experience in civil defense litigation
- Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
- Experience drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and managing motion practice
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approach
