About the Role
Regent European University is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join its Human Resources team. This role involves supporting a diverse workforce, delivering high-quality HR services, and shaping a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Coach managers on performance management and employee development.
- Maintain accurate HR records and support payroll and reporting.
- Assist with organizational change, policy development, and HR projects.
- Promote employee wellbeing, engagement, and an inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure HR practices comply with UK employment legislation and awareness of European practices.
Requirements
- Experience in a generalist HR Advisor or HR Officer role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience working across multiple sites or within an international organization (advantageous).
- Knowledge of TUPE and organizational change (advantageous).
- Experience using HR data and analytics to inform decision-making (advantageous).
- CIPD Level 7 qualification (advantageous).
