About the Role

Regent European University is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join its Human Resources team. This role involves supporting a diverse workforce, delivering high-quality HR services, and shaping a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Coach managers on performance management and employee development.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support payroll and reporting.
  • Assist with organizational change, policy development, and HR projects.
  • Promote employee wellbeing, engagement, and an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with UK employment legislation and awareness of European practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in a generalist HR Advisor or HR Officer role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working across multiple sites or within an international organization (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of TUPE and organizational change (advantageous).
  • Experience using HR data and analytics to inform decision-making (advantageous).
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (advantageous).
