About the Role
Manage a Product Management team and be accountable for setting the product vision, roadmap, and product-market-fit. Align stakeholders with product strategy and Rockwell Automation priorities, including outcome-based selling and ARR. Advocate for the end-user, drive Voice-of-Customer research, and partner with engineering, operations, and development to shape the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Product Managers, providing direct supervision to professional individual contributors.
- Manage and align stakeholders to the product strategy; articulate alignment with broader Rockwell Automation strategies (e.g., outcome-based selling, ARR) and business value of the product.
- Set the product vision and product roadmap, including new products and new features; accountable for finalizing product-market-fit.
- Lead activities to set the strategic business direction and alignment with development, operations, and engineering services partners.
- Drive effective Voice-of-Customer / User Research with current and prospective customers to identify pain points at a market and user level.
- Ensure effective documentation of requirements using agreed techniques such as use cases, personas, user stories, and specifications.
- Advocate for the end-user and shape the customer experience within the product.
- Create partnerships with engineering to align customer expectations with development of product/solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive threats within target automation markets and their technical impact on the portfolio and Rockwell Automation's strategy and priorities.
- Champion innovation in the product line by creating product differentiation, solution/attachment opportunities, and acting as a thought leader.
- Drive market analysis (TAM, SAM, etc.) and develop strategies for growth.
- Sales, channel, and support enablement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
- Will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future for this job opening.
- 7+ years of product management, solution delivery, technical consulting, commercial portfolio management, or solution sales experience.
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience leading activities or medium to large projects (people management experience not required).
- Deep exposure to the application of managed products in automation, across multiple industries.
- Experience in automation, operational IT, related standards, and Industry 4.0 / Industrial Internet of Things.
- Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners as a product ambassador with team members, partners, customers, and industry and standards organisations.
- Experience representing the business in critical meetings with customers, sales, and management teams.
- Create and use user personas and tailor them to assigned product(s) or portfolio offerings.
- Comfortable working on issues of diverse scope requiring evaluation of a variety of factors, including current business trends.
- Experience with market analysis including distinctive competencies, competitive landscape, and asset assessment.
- Understanding of business financials: revenue, pricing, buy/build/partner, cost to serve, profitability, and new ideas.

Salary/Compensations
- Base Salary Compensation is from ($135,400 CAD - $169,300 CAD) with an annual target bonus of (7%) of base salary.
