About the Role
The Floor Staff provides superior guest service in a clean and comfortable environment, representing the theatre consistently with the Company’s mission statement and policies. This role requires a genuine concern for guest satisfaction and may involve serving alcohol, requiring legal age, applicable training, permits, licenses, and background check completion.
Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Serve alcohol, adhering to all state and local laws, training, permits, and licenses.
- Adhere to all laws and legal obligations regarding alcohol service.
- Demonstrate knowledge of all coupons and ongoing promotions.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club Program.
- Enforce the MPAA rating system.
- Handle all monies and merchandise accurately.
- Operate, prepare, and clean concession equipment.
- Properly utilize concession storerooms.
- Use cleaning materials according to MSDS.
- Execute concession opening, closing, and in-between show procedures.
- Follow all emergency, evacuation, and robbery procedures.
- Utilize excellent sales techniques, including upselling and suggestive selling.
- Follow counterfeit bill procedures.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws.
- Adhere to the dress code.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by smiling, greeting, and thanking all guests.
- Maintain accuracy of cash drawers, inventory, and coupons.
- Operate the popper correctly and follow emergency procedures.
- Abide by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods.
- Complete progress towards cast certification as a cast member and concessionist.
- Read and understand training materials on topics such as sexual harassment and discrimination.
Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol if applicable.
- Must complete all applicable training, obtain required permits and licenses, and pass a background check if serving alcohol.
- Possess good public speaking skills.
- Listen effectively and respond clearly and directly.
- Perform calculations with speed and accuracy.
- Identify and correct errors in calculations.
- Identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes.
