About the Role

Assist with managing the daily kitchen utility operations and staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met. Responsibilities include dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance, banquet plating, and food running.

Responsibilities

• Pull necessary dishware, glassware, and silverware for upcoming events based on Banquets Front/Back of House lists.
• Gather all rental dishware, glassware, silverware, and other rental banquet equipment for pickup.
• Train new dishwashers on department requirements and standards.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the dish room, kitchen aisle, and dock area.
• Ensure dishwashing stewards clean dishwashers frequently and maintain the kitchen and related areas.
• Ensure garage cans are cleaned, emptied, and returned to the kitchen.
• Break down trays, set up the dish machine, wash dishware, and sort/store clean china, glass, and silver.
• Thoroughly clean the dock area and dumpster.
• Break down and clean the dish machine, inside and out.
• Ensure cleaning of all breakdown tables.
• Ensure cleaning of tile walls and baseboards.
• Aid in the receiving of orders on delivery days.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
