About the Role
Account Executives support the Accounts team by overseeing small to medium sized programs or working as part of a larger team on large-scale programs. Successful candidates are skilled communicators, efficient project planners, and flexible problem solvers focused on superior project management and client relations.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with brand teams to understand needs, deliver information, and execute accordingly.
- Manage timelines and communications, booking internal meetings and reviews.
- Maintain updated knowledge of brand teams’ business and objectives.
- Identify and inform on industry trends.
- Act as an extension of the brand team throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborate with the direct team to facilitate brand team needs and provide feedback.
- Work closely with partners to ensure they have necessary tools and information.
- Develop and receive support from your manager as required.
- Liaise with your manager regarding activities and brand team updates.
- Reconcile program budgets and stay in close contact with the finance team.
- Stay on budget and communicate potential budget insufficiencies to management.
- Review budgets with clients, providing detailed breakdowns and pricing rationale.
- Master project details to ensure smooth execution.
- Develop timelines with all departments and ensure projects track successfully.
- Communicate project changes and updates to teams and brand partners.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement agile solutions.
- Support teams in creating a positive culture and testing new policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience in the advertising industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent active listening and time management skills.
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others internally and externally.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Keen interest in consumer behaviours and industry trends.
- Strong foundational technology skills – familiarity with O365, social & digital media.
