About the Role

We are seeking a .NET Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy cloud/web/mobile software using Microsoft/Azure technologies. This role involves applying software engineering principles to solve business problems and working directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist and/or lead efforts with System Architecture and Technical Design
• Assist and/or lead efforts in database design and construction in MS-SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle and others
• Assist and/or lead efforts as a key contributor in the Application Development functional area
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews
• Assist and mentor other team members where appropriate
• Experience working in Azure using App Services, Key Vault, Azure Functions, Azure Storage or others
• Experience with Azure DevOps and working with Azure Pipelines or similar CI/CD tooling or the desire to learn

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of software development experience on modern Microsoft platforms including C#, ASP.NET Core, Razor, Blazor, Minimal APIs / Web APIs, and .NET 8/9 (LTS)
• Experience building and architecting new solutions from the ground up
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or similar to accelerate development, code review, and testing workflows
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, or Blazor with a strong understanding of contemporary web development is desired
• Experience working in a blend of on-prem and cloud environments
• Experience with RESTful and/or gRPC API design
• Skillful in writing unit and integration tests using xUnit
• Expertise in SQL Server or equivalent relational database experience
• Practical experience using Entity Framework Core or a comparable ORM
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum team environment
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and modern source control workflows (Git) is a plus
• Fundamental understanding of and demonstrated experience with service-oriented and microservices architectures
• Fundamental understanding of and demonstrated experience with modern software design patterns and clean architecture principles
• Fundamental understanding of and demonstrated experience with infrastructure, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
• Fundamental understanding of and demonstrated experience with message queues, event-driven systems & microservices
• Fundamental understanding of and demonstrated experience with database design, modeling and implementation (SQL)
• Fundamental understanding of and demonstrated experience with web and application server configuration & administration
• Fundamental understanding of and demonstrated experience with integrating and responsibly applying AI tooling within the software development lifecycle
