About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead product design for our Global Payments team. This role involves shaping the product experience for enterprise payment rails, including direct bank integrations and new provider partnerships. The position requires significant product thinking and will involve influencing strategic direction, especially as AI investments are made.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end payments experience, including scheduling, tracking, failure, and retry states.
- Shape product direction by framing problems, writing briefs, and driving decisions with evidence.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, PM, and go-to-market stakeholders to define and implement new features.
- Design the experience layer for new payment rails, including customer migration strategies.
- Conduct user research to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Participate in regular design reviews with the broader design team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing complex B2B or workflow products.
- Experience shipping at least one full product or significant feature end-to-end as the lead designer.
- Experience driving product decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Experience conducting user research and translating findings into design decisions.
- Experience iterating closely with engineers on UX and visual design.
- Ability to defend design decisions and adapt based on evidence.
- Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools.
- Understanding of technical constraints in web application development.
