About the Role
The Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technician supports the overall Food Safety Plan through monitoring, record/product review and inspections.
Responsibilities
- Conduct verification inspections for post sanitation and pre-operation cleans.
- Conduct pre-operational and environmental monitoring swabs.
- Conduct plating of environmental monitoring swabs.
- Monitor room, cooler and incubator temperatures.
- Conduct routine testing and monitoring of product and packaging attributes to established specifications.
- Conduct daily review of labels and retain product.
- Conduct real time review of production records.
- Conduct daily line inspections.
- Conduct routine data entry and filing of paperwork.
- Perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.
- Produce products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by plant FSQA leadership.
- Maintain company confidentiality.
Requirements
- Ability to complete tasks based on standard procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work cross-functionally.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

- HACCP Certification
Salary/Compensations
- $23.95/hr - $24.60/hr
