About the Role
The Graduate Analyst will contribute to the success of the Metals & Mining M&A team and Global Banking and Markets in Europe, ensuring goals and initiatives align with business strategies. All activities must comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Participate in origination efforts, including marketing materials and presentations, and support client pitch and deal execution.
- Assist in drafting prospectuses, documentation, and marketing presentations for transactions.
- Contribute to and prepare financial and written analysis of companies and industries, including developing models and performing various financial analyses.
- Evaluate and analyze corporate clients' financial needs and the impacts of different capital structures and M&A transactions.
- Apply product and capital markets knowledge to help clients achieve financial objectives.
- Participate in all stages of transaction execution, from pitch to closing.
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage Bank resources.
- Understand and apply the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture in daily activities.
- Pursue efficient operations and ensure adequacy and adherence to business controls for operational risk, regulatory compliance, AML/ATF, and conduct risk.
- Contribute to a high-performance and inclusive work environment, supporting team vision, values, and strategy.
Requirements
- Recent university graduate (2025/2026) with a clear interest in Finance and a passion for Investment Banking/M&A.
- Applications are welcome from any degree discipline.
- Previous Metals & Mining experience is an asset but not mandatory.
- Strong quantitative skills in financial analysis, accounting, and financial theory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high work standards.
- Ability to excel under pressure, meet demanding deadlines, and adapt quickly to new situations.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- A strong sense of personal integrity.
- A high level of energy and a keen desire to learn new concepts.
