About the Role

This role supports the design and implementation of Pinterest’s executive compensation programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage the equity program and ensure alignment with business objectives. It requires a hands-on, strategic, and creative approach to address market challenges and leverage industry best practices in executive compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and enhancements of executive compensation programs to scale and elevate offerings.
  • Provide technical expertise on executive compensation strategy, design, policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance.
  • Manage annual compensation review, new hire, and separation-related compensation processes for executives.
  • Maintain the annual Talent Development & Compensation Committee calendar with agenda items.
  • Partner with leadership to prepare materials for quarterly Talent Development and Compensation Committee meetings.
  • In partnership with Legal and Accounting, prepare the Compensation Discussion & Analysis and compensation tables for the proxy statement.
  • Monitor developments in executive compensation regulation, disclosure, and shareholder voting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of global compensation experience in a publicly traded company.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience administering executive and equity compensation programs and developing board-level quality materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
  • Proven partnerships with HR, Finance, Accounting, and Legal.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with leaders.
  • Demonstrates strong initiative, is self-managed, and can prioritize and multitask.
  • Holistic problem solver striving for excellence with a growth mindset.
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and takes initiative.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with HRIS, preferably Workday.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
