About the Role

The Assistant Director of Campus Services supports a broad range of operational responsibilities within the Operations Division, overseeing administrative support functions and student-facing services. This role is key in managing assigned programs, regulatory compliance, institutional services, and division-wide administrative functions, while partnering with leaders to advance strategic priorities and enhance operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the School-wide Transportation Program, including administering ticketing systems, developing surveys, and coordinating with families and vendors on routing, service, and safety.
  • Oversee, maintain, and evaluate compliance programs and regulatory requirements impacting the Division of Operations, ensuring adherence to New York State and New York City regulations.
  • Manage and serve as the primary administrator for the Magnus Health System, including health forms, compliance reporting, student records, and communications.
  • Assist in the oversight of Dining Services and Health Services, including operational planning, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a representative of the School in matters related to facilities rentals, coordinating with external organizations and managing client relationships.
  • Oversee key operational systems and administrative services, including the Virtual School Store, postage and mailing systems, and document retention.
  • Provide specialized support to departmental programs focusing on marketing, customer engagement, surveys, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the Operations Division to advance division-wide priorities and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Support Operations Division-wide administrative and financial functions, including budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, and data analysis.
  • Represent Operations at marketing, admissions, enrollment, and community events.
  • Foster positive relationships with team members and various stakeholders.
  • Motivate and inspire the team and coworkers to achieve goals.
  • Perform other related projects and duties as needed and assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and respond to the needs of individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify issues quickly, problem-solve, and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Experience managing programs, projects, vendors, or operational services in an educational, nonprofit, hospitality, healthcare, or similarly customer-focused environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and web-based management platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to listen effectively and be receptive to feedback.
  • Ability to handle confidential materials with discretion and integrity.
  • Demonstrated leadership and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
