About the Role
Sid Harvey’s, an HVAC wholesale distributor, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate for its Medford, NY location. This role involves providing excellent customer service, efficiently processing orders, and ensuring safe handling and transportation of products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
- Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.
- Continuously update product knowledge and stay informed about product inventory and applicability.
- Accurately fill customer orders by retrieving requested material.
- Accurately and safely load and unload trucks.
- Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality.
- Maintain clear aisles and walkways and ensure proper organization of material.
- Assist in maintaining the appearance of the branch through cleaning and straightening.
- Report back orders and material discrepancies to the Branch Manager.
- Accurately perform cycle counts as required.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner, following all safety rules.
- Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.
- Perform forklift inspections as required.
- Assist in year-end physical inventories as requested.
- Perform other responsibilities as directed.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
