About the Role
The Artist Services Venue Coordinators provide on-site support for filmmakers, managing itineraries, ticketing, and volunteer liaisons at assigned NYFF venues to ensure a seamless experience for VIP guests during screenings and events.
Responsibilities
- Review and finalize filmmaker itineraries, schedules, and ticket allocations in coordination with Travel Coordinators.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for filmmakers during screenings, events, and hospitality functions.
- Lead venue walk-throughs with film teams and provide guidance on logistics and access.
- Coordinate and supervise volunteer Artist Services Liaisons during festival operations.
- Respond to on-site guest requests in coordination with the Artist Services Manager and other departments.
- Ensure efficient artist-related operations, including guest arrivals, press access, and special accommodations.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, itineraries, and on-site support tasks.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of the film industry and film festivals.
- Ability to maintain focus and calm under pressure.
- Comfortable working out of FLC venues.
- Possess energy, stamina, and patience.
