About the Role
The Partnerships Activation Assistant assists the Partnerships & Advertising department with the activation and management of all key sponsorships during the 64th New York Film Festival.
Responsibilities
- Execute the creative approvals process by trafficking creative assets to all relevant sponsors.
- Maintain internal partnership production documents and reports, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
- Provide weekly updates to the festival’s Presenting Partner in collaboration with the VP.
- Write and distribute the weekly NYFF Partner Newsletter.
- Join important partner and advertiser meetings and write clear, thorough agendas and recaps when required.
- Write daily photography shot lists and liaise with assigned photographers.
- Download and organize event photography, including identifying selects for each partner and activation.
- Ensure execution of Partner social benefits and campaigns in collaboration with the Assistant Director and Marketing team.
- Support the VP and Assistant Director and collaborate with relevant internal teams on experiential activation planning and execution.
- Generate post-festival partnership recap templates.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of work experience
- Availability to work on evenings and weekends during NYFF64 (9/25-10/9)
- Arts festival and/or event production experience
- Digital marketing and/or advertising experience
- Account management experience
- Experience with Eventival, Tessitura, and/or Asana
- Passion for film
Skills
- Strong competency in Google Suite
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Professionalism and appropriate decorum when interacting with colleagues and partners
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team, take initiative, anticipate challenges, solve problems, and remain calm under pressure
