About the Role

Support the delivery of People Strategy initiatives across assigned business units, providing operational and analytical support, serving as a reliable point of contact for internal clients, and helping ensure People Strategy initiatives are executed effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Partner(s) to execute people strategies aligned with business unit objectives.
  • Provide day-to-day support including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, organizing files, and tracking progress on key People Team initiatives.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for business unit members and leaders on routine people matters.
  • Build relationships across the client group and escalate more complex issues to the Business Partner(s).
  • Liaise with Centers of Excellence (compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, learning and development) to ensure aligned service delivery.
  • Manage administrative components of performance management.
  • Run standard workforce reports (headcount, turnover, open requisitions) from HRIS and other systems.
  • Analyze workforce data and surface trends or insights.
  • Provide updates and recommendations to Business Partner(s).
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to business unit activities.
  • Take ownership of assigned People Strategy projects or workstreams.
  • Maintain regular and reliable physical presence to build strong internal client relationships.
  • Manage the full recruitment request lifecycle.
  • Conduct Exit interviews, new hire check-ins and trainings.
  • Follow recommended guidelines and practices to enhance efficiency, customer service, and employee relations.
  • Manage Firm resources responsibly.
  • Comply with and understand Firm operations, policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of relevant software programs and HR systems with ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Current knowledge of Human Resources practices, techniques and business trends.
  • Broad and thorough knowledge of Excel and MS Word.
  • Understanding of employee database applications.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Takes initiative and responsibility when dealing with departmental issues.
