About the Role

RSM is seeking an Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager to join their London offices. This role involves managing the statutory compliance and accounting support for a portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted advisor across various industries. Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing premium service and identifying business development opportunities.
  • Provide support and advisory services to clients, including assistance with their audit process.
  • Ensure strong awareness of IFRS, FRS102, FRS101, and Companies Act reporting requirements.
  • Manage project working capital, including budgeting, cost management, billing, and debt recoverability.
  • Oversee the performance of relevant Accounting and Financial Reporting teams, setting objectives and development plans for junior members.

Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA fully qualified.
  • At least three years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Two years of experience in a manager role overseeing a client portfolio.
  • Industry or commercial finance experience is welcomed.
  • Experience in supervising and coaching junior staff.
  • Strong technical skills with knowledge of IFRS, FRS 102, and Companies Act reporting.
  • In-depth understanding of UK financial reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of CCH or similar professional accounts preparation packages.
