About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Manager leads the HR Recruitment team, focusing on recruitment strategies, retention initiatives, and ensuring the organization hires top talent. This role partners closely with HR and company leadership to identify hiring needs and manage the full recruitment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the HR Recruitment team's day-to-day responsibilities in effective recruitment strategies, pre-employment process, and efficient onboarding process.
  • Challenge and develop direct reports' performance, provide feedback, and hold them accountable to their goals and job responsibilities.
  • Prepare and present direct report's performance reviews.
  • Develop and implement the organization's talent acquisition strategy.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies by understanding role requirements and desired candidate profiles.
  • Identify current and future hiring needs and develop job descriptions and specifications through partnership with leadership and management teams.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from defining job descriptions to managing the offer process.
  • Build, implement, manage, and maintain key recruitment metrics to evaluate and improve recruitment efforts and the hiring process.
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics to evaluate and improve recruiting efforts and the hiring process.
  • Conduct job market and best practice research to ensure competitive hiring strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships by building the company's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, local colleges/universities, unemployment offices, etc.
  • Set up informational booths at local colleges.
  • Implement new sourcing methods and maintain a network of potential candidates.
  • Provide direction and guidance to the recruitment team to maintain a strong social media presence.
  • Identify, sign up, and attend job fairs as well as organize and lead on-site job fairs.
  • Assist in maintenance of an application database/tracking system that retains and organizes applications/resumes for one year.
  • Build, manage, and maintain internship and exit interview programs.
  • Source, screen and interview potential candidates.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of previous leadership experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs).
  • Excellent understanding of recruitment processes.
  • Good interpersonal and decision-making skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage time, projects and deadlines well.
