About the Role
As a Medical Receptionist, you will balance patient needs with efficient office workflow, support physicians in all aspects of medical procedures, and ensure an excellent patient service experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms; assist patients with form completion.
- Schedule appointments and accommodate patient needs, including transportation and rescheduling.
- Comply with patient needs at all times and ensure all questions are answered.
- Maintain procedure rooms, ensuring they are neat and ready for use.
- Prepare patients before procedures and clean up afterward.
- Ensure patients receive post-procedure instructions and information on obtaining medication.
- Monitor supply levels and replace inventory.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience as a receptionist, preferably in the medical or dental field.
- Ability to work on weekends.
- Spanish speaking is a significant advantage.
