About the Role

Power-Flo Technologies is seeking a full-time warehouse associate / backup driver to join their New Hyde Park team. This role involves warehouse duties and driving a 16-18 foot box truck as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic warehouse work including removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, driving, and organizing.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment.
• Organize inventory.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean Driver's License to operate company vehicles.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and occasionally operate delivery vehicles (box trucks and vans).
• Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders as needed.

Requirements

• Box Truck experience required (16-18 ft or larger).
• Current, valid, and clean NYS driver’s license (7 years' clean driving record) to operate company vehicles as needed.
• 1+ years of warehouse experience required.
• Experience with cycle counting, consolidation, and inventory management.
• Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies.
• Ability to work well independently and on a team with a great attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with functional English skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
