About the Role

Seeking an experienced Equity Analyst to join the Global Healthcare team as a Global Industry Analyst (GIA). This role involves conducting research and making investment recommendations on International (non-US) stocks, focusing on Products & Services across developed and emerging markets. The GIA will identify mispricing and valuation discrepancies, communicate findings to Portfolio Managers, and potentially take on portfolio management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting research and making investment recommendations on International (non-US) stocks, with a primary focus on Products & Services.
  • Conducting fundamental research that leads to differentiated insights by asking innovative questions, anticipating trends, and identifying risks.
  • Identifying mispricing and valuation discrepancies to make investment recommendations.
  • Communicating findings to Portfolio Managers globally.
  • Taking on portfolio management responsibilities for industry sub-sectors over time.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of successful stock recommendations in the specified sectors.
  • Fundamental, research-oriented, bottom-up approach supported by a strong investment philosophy and process.
  • Ability to integrate ESG considerations into investment philosophy and process.
  • Ability to identify mispricing and valuation discrepancies.
  • Strong communication skills to present findings to Portfolio Managers globally.
  • Ability to take risks and hold non-consensus investment views.
  • Humility to admit mistakes and course correct.
  • Intellectual curiosity with the ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience, ideally gained on the Buy side.
  • In-depth experience covering International Healthcare Products & Services.
  • L/S investing experience viewed favorably.
  • Ability, skill, and comfort communicating to Portfolio Managers across the globe (US, Europe, and Asia).
  • Capacity for differentiated thinking.
  • Ability and willingness to make investment decisions under pressure and in uncertain situations.
  • Strong desire and appetite for continuous learning.
  • Global perspective.
