About the Role
Health Center Inc. is seeking a General Dentist for its Harlem or Brooklyn location to provide top-notch dental services to Union members. This role offers an exciting opportunity to impact under-represented communities with a stable work schedule, including no weekends and no overnights.
Responsibilities
- Provide dental care and treatment to patients.
- Assess patients to determine dental care needs.
- Develop a dental treatment plan with the patient.
- Educate patients regarding preventive care, planned care and treatment, and follow-up care.
- Provide general health education as it relates to dental care.
- Make referrals, as indicated by the assessed needs of the patients.
- Voluntarily participate in the on-call schedule.
- Provide emergency care and treatment, as necessary.
- Document complete information in electronic dental charts.
Requirements
- Current license as a Dentist in New York State.
- Current BCLS certification, DEA, Infection Control certification.
- Meets all requirements for appointment/reappointment as a member of the clinical staff.
