Responsibilities
- Cultivate a culture that promotes inclusion, innovation, productivity, and collaboration.
- Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication.
- Ensure all service requirements are maintained as per the contract agreement.
- Adjust labor hours based on vacancy reports.
- Review monthly supply inventory and ensure orders stay within budget.
- Present quarterly business reports to the client using PowerPoint.
- Investigate and enforce progressive disciplinary actions.
- Review and update job duty descriptions using Microsoft Word.
- Track periodic assignments using a chart format in Excel.
- Have a general understanding of pricing and submit quotes for extra services.
- Conduct periodic site inspections to ensure quality levels are maintained, documented, and communicated.
- Create work orders and submit them to accounting for billing.
- Conduct periodic evening site audits to ensure staffing levels, sign-in sheets are accurate, and employee uniforms are in good order.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients by conducting regular formal contract review meetings.
- Ensure invoicing for additional services is accurate.
- Ensure all labor costs are accurate and on budget.
- Maintain positive relationships with Unions.
- Complete all monthly reporting accurately and by month-end deadlines.
- Participate in operations management meetings and share best industry practices.
- Train Administrative Assistant, Supervisors, and Quality Control specialists to ensure efficient and safe work practices and timely reporting of deficiencies and incidents.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience within the cleaning industry is preferred.
- Understanding of proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Understanding of health and safety issues.
- Required to be flexible in adjusting workloads of staff to manage absenteeism and special projects.
- Required to be on call for emergency situations.
- Driver's license required.
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check.
