About the Role

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) work with individuals experiencing developmental disabilities, assisting them in their daily lives within their homes and communities. This role supports individuals to live fully, recognizing their rights and unique needs, and fostering their growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals in their daily life.
  • Support individuals to learn skills for their own growth and development.
  • Provide Supported Independent Living supports.

Requirements

  • Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Full G-License Required

Skills

  • Experience with Behaviour Support Plans
  • Experience with CPI techniques
  • Experience supporting people living within a Supported Independent Living model
