About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will balance patient needs with efficient office workflow, support physicians in medical procedures, and ensure an excellent patient service experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms, assisting with form completion.
- Utilize clinic computer hardware and software according to company policies.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient transportation needs.
- Perform clerical tasks including copying, filing, and faxing.
- Address patient needs and answer all questions.
- Maintain neat and ready procedure rooms.
- Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures.
- Prepare patients before procedures and clean up afterward.
- Provide patients with post-procedure instructions and medication information.
- Monitor and replenish supply levels.
- Apply knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations.
- Prepare IV solutions.
- Train new staff as needed.
- Assist ultrasound staff as needed.
- Transport supplies or equipment as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant Certification Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Fluency in English and Spanish Required
- Able to work on Weekends Preferred

- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required
