About the Role

Reporting to the Head of OpenAI Academy and Forum in EMEA, this role oversees programming, planning, coordination, and execution of online and in-person events, manages content roadmaps, and collaborates with cross-functional teams for high-profile engagements supporting Global Affairs priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Academy and Forum in EMEA in day-to-day planning and execution of programming aligned with regional Global Affairs priorities.
  • Design and execute online and in-person events across EMEA, such as trainings, webinars, and panel discussions, ensuring cultural relevance and local insight.
  • Manage timelines, guest communications, vendors, travel, and follow-ups for regional activations.
  • Track KPIs, participant feedback, and performance metrics, providing regular internal reporting.
  • Oversee end-to-end event strategy and execution, including programming, logistics, budgeting, and delivery.
  • Manage content roadmaps for online events and webinars, meeting community needs and organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional contributors, including policy, events, communications, and go-to-market teams.
  • Develop and execute community engagement strategies to foster a vibrant online and in-person community.
  • Monitor and analyse community metrics to inform continuous improvement of programming.
  • Build tailored event invites in HubSpot.
  • Own member segmentation based on data-driven insights.
  • Own virtual and in-person event coordination, including shared documentation, speaker assets, talk tracks, and planning calls.
  • Own tactical workflows for building events on the Gradual community platform.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for events coordination with Gradual for event builds, live streams, and ticket types.
  • Manage guest lists for in-person events in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Provide in-person event support in EMEA across all regional priority geographies.

Requirements

  • Event production expertise with hands-on experience in planning and executing both online and in-person events.
  • Experience working with agents to automate workflows is a plus.
  • Comfort with tools like Figma and HubSpot.
  • Content strategy and coordination skills to oversee development and manage roadmaps.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective idea conveyance and cross-functional work.
  • Adaptability to navigate changing priorities while managing multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English; additional EU languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
