About the Role
Kimley-Horn is seeking a Design Technician for their Bridge Design team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves using computer drafting software to create site plans and construction drawings for projects.
Responsibilities
- Use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings.
- Design and produce sets of plans.
- Implement and manage AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards.
- Assist in maintaining the drawing database.
- Perform routine analysis to check data accuracy.
- Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree preferred).
- 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Detail-oriented.
