About the Role

A janitorial custodian maintains, cleans, and sanitizes buildings to ensure a safe and orderly environment. This role requires working independently and being proactive.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Performing general cleaning of restrooms, including restocking supplies.
• Emptying trash cans and recycling bins and transporting waste to disposal areas.
• Dusting furniture, wiping walls, and polishing fixtures.
• Performing minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs or unclogging drains.
• Proactively identifying and addressing areas needing attention and logging work.

Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform physical labor.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and sanitation protocols.
• Basic understanding of minor repair tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience in cleaning or maintenance roles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and partners.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic production environments.
• High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
