About the Role

TYLin is seeking a talented and motivated Architect passionate about designing public infrastructure that is accessible, resilient, sustainable, and built to serve communities for generations. This role offers the opportunity to apply architectural expertise to transformative infrastructure projects, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to create and improve stations, transit facilities, maintenance complexes, and other public infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of complex public infrastructure projects, including passenger stations, maintenance facilities, operations buildings, and other civic environments.
  • Develop architectural solutions that prioritize design excellence, accessibility, sustainability, resilience, operational efficiency, and exceptional user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, communications, and other transportation professionals to deliver fully integrated design solutions.
  • Participate in all phases of project delivery, from concept development through construction documentation and construction administration.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and project teams to deliver high-quality, technically sound design solutions.
  • Interpret and apply applicable building codes, accessibility standards, client requirements, and project-specific design criteria.
  • Produce and review architectural drawings, specifications, reports, and presentation materials.
  • Support quality assurance efforts to ensure design excellence throughout project delivery.
  • Contribute ideas that advance innovative, people-focused infrastructure design.

Requirements

  • Registered Architect (RA) or ability to obtain registration within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Approximately 5+ years of professional architectural experience on complex building or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience designing institutional, civic, transportation, healthcare, education, aviation, commercial, or similarly complex facilities.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary project coordination.
  • Working knowledge of applicable building codes and accessibility requirements, including ADA.
  • Proficiency in Revit / AutoCAD is a must.
  • Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office are everyday tools.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and a desire to keep learning and taking on new challenges.
  • A genuine interest in designing infrastructure that creates lasting value for communities.
