About the Role

As a Garage Door Installer at Precision Garage Door Services, you will receive training to quickly become proficient with your own company vehicle and a stream of customers. We provide the necessary tools and training to support your career growth. You will directly assist customers by repairing, replacing, and installing garage doors, ensuring they understand all service options.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and installing garage door parts and equipment on-site.
• Diagnosing and repairing garage doors, door operators, and replacing worn or broken parts.
• Installing new equipment, including doors and replacing springs.
• Explaining repair options and solutions to customers in detail.
• Reviewing and explaining completed work to customers.
• Selling services, repairs, and new equipment using a proven model.
• Collecting payment from customers.
• Managing inventory of equipment, tools, and products in the company vehicle.
• Maximizing time by addressing customer needs, offering solutions, and managing the daily schedule.
• Ensuring quality workmanship on the first attempt.
• Providing excellent customer experiences and encouraging positive reviews.
• Committing to safe driving and work practices.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills are a plus (not required).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
• Interpersonal skills for effective customer communication and issue resolution.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
