About the Role

As a Senior Enterprise Automation Engineer, you will serve as the crucial technical bridge between advanced Applied Science research and operational reality. You will design, build, and deploy intelligent workflow automations using enterprise tools like UiPath and n8n, and integrate Agentic AI (LLMs) into business processes. You will develop Human-in-the-Loop architectures to transform manual tasks into supervised independent systems, empowering logistics teams to focus on strategic execution.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and scale robust automations using enterprise orchestration platforms (e.g., UiPath Suite, n8n) to eliminate high-volume manual data entry.
Leverage advanced prompt engineering to embed Large Language Models (LLMs) into daily business processes to handle unstructured data.
Define and enforce baseline development guidelines, ensuring decentralized bots are auditable, secure, and deployable across the European network.
Design and manage API connections linking legacy enterprise systems (like SAP) with modern AI orchestration tools.
Develop Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows that safely manage operational edge-cases, ensuring business stakeholders trust and adopt automated systems.
Collaborate with central Tech teams and operational Subject Matter Experts to rapidly discover, build, and deploy solutions to production within fast-paced sprints.

Requirements

Deep, hands-on expertise in developing and architecting workflow automations using enterprise platforms like UiPath Suite and n8n.
Practical, demonstrated experience in prompt engineering and safely integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into live business operations.
Solid foundation in basic programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript) enabling custom logic within automation frameworks.
Hands-on experience with OCR and AI tools for Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) to extract structured data from unstructured logistics documents.
Proficiency in Process Mining (e.g., Celonis) or Task Mining for process discovery and automation opportunity identification.
Proven ability to build resilient, self-healing workflows and exception-handling frameworks.
Strong capability in designing, managing, and troubleshooting APIs to create data bridges across diverse internal systems.
Master communicator and stakeholder manager, translating complex operational friction into actionable technical requirements.
Passion for process optimization and thriving in an agile environment focused on iterative and rapid delivery.
