About the Role
Institutional Client Group (ICG) facilitates the origination, distribution, and secondary market-making of FIC products and financing to institutional clients. This role focuses on covering important institutional clients at a senior level within the Financing Coverage Group, emphasizing distribution and delivering creative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Cover important institutional clients at a senior level within the Financing Coverage Group, focusing on Distribution.
- Develop strong relationships with partners, senior PMs, principals, and capital markets professionals at covered clients.
- Collaborate with product partners in trading and structuring to deliver creative client solutions.
- Engage in strategic planning, budgeting, and client wallet share analysis.
- Generate new revenue opportunities within the securitized, private, and alternate capital space.
- Drive new business development within the Financing Coverage Group.
- Drive sales growth by creating new and developing existing relationships.
- Generate new revenue opportunities for the FX business.
- Think strategically about the business and stay on top of market themes/trends.
Requirements
- Series 7 & 63
- Proficient experience in Fixed Income
- Strong interpersonal skills for developing new client relationships and communicating with various DB teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Be a team player, anticipating and solving problems for the group.
- Possess a consistent sense of urgency and drive to perform at one's best.
- Strong communication skills to persuade investors to purchase DB services.
- Detail-oriented and driven to succeed in a complex, fast-moving environment.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive work environment.
