About the Role

The Internal Communications Lead is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for internal communications and employee engagement, covering areas like strategy, financial updates, people changes, and HR/operations. This role requires collaboration across all organizational levels, including ExCo and the CEO, and works closely with marketing, comms, and HR teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement an internal comms strategy to inform employees about business and people developments, fostering engagement and pride.
  • Develop and oversee content (written, visual, audio) for internal projects and ongoing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with content, digital channels, and external comms teams.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar for internal content.
  • Adhere to expected behaviors as stated in the FCA Conduct Rules.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in crafting and implementing strategy.
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, email marketing software).
  • Demonstrable project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3-5 years in a similar role within a FTSE organisation.
