About the Role

CCAR is seeking a full-time Recovery Community Center Manager to oversee daily operations and coordinate recovery support services at the New London Recovery Community Center. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, highly organized, and passionate about working with individuals in recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the Recovery Community Center, ensuring a recovery-focused tone and culture.
  • Provide individual support and system navigation for recoverees and their families, including resources, referrals, phone support, and assistance with requests for help.
  • Oversee the development, coordination, implementation, and management of peer recovery support services at the local level.
  • Ensure the Telephone Recovery Support program operates efficiently within the Recovery Community Center.
  • Build the local support service network through personal meetings, presentations, council, committee, and board participation, speaking engagements, and other promotional or networking activities.
  • Recruit volunteers and promote recovery support services within the local community.
  • Provide supervision as assigned.
  • Schedule and implement recovery trainings and events in accordance with established requirements.
  • Maintain data, prepare reports, and keep accurate and relevant records.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of successful, progressive experience in service or program delivery with a nonprofit organization.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience with outreach, networking, promotion, and training.
  • Strong customer service ethic.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with current technology.
  • Cross-cultural skills and experience working with culturally diverse populations.
  • A valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.
  • A cover letter highlighting your interest and experience is required.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of addiction recovery preferred.
  • Familiarity with CCAR projects and services preferred.
