About the Role
As Vice President of Finance, you will build the financial operating system to guide Loop through its next stage of growth. This role involves shaping company strategy through financial insight, commercial thinking, and disciplined execution, working directly alongside the founders. You will build the operating model, own the planning cadence, prepare board materials, support investor conversations, and ensure all major decisions are grounded in robust financial analysis. This is a builder's role where you will establish systems, discipline, and financial infrastructure to support business scaling.
Responsibilities
- Build Loop's Financial Operating System, owning the financial architecture and designing finance to scale.
- Own Financial Planning & Analysis, including company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Serve as the Founders' Strategic Finance Partner, working on major decisions, challenging assumptions, and providing financial clarity.
- Lead Board & Investor Finance, owning financial interactions, preparing board packs, and developing investor presentations.
- Own Cash & Capital management, building cash flow forecasts, modeling fundraising scenarios, and monitoring key metrics.
- Build Commercial Finance capabilities, partnering with various departments to evaluate pricing, analyze profitability, and develop decision-making dashboards.
- Build Scalable Finance Operations, overseeing accounting, payroll, reporting, controls, and managing external relationships.
- Build the Future Finance Team, starting as an individual contributor and growing the finance function over time.
Requirements
- 10+ years of finance experience within high-growth venture-backed technology companies.
- Experience building finance within a Series A, B, or C business.
- Personal experience building forecasting models, board packs, and financial plans.
- Experience supporting fundraising, investor diligence, or venture capital reporting.
- Significant experience with FP&A, financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Commercial thinking with an understanding that finance supports business decisions.
- Experience working directly with founders or executive leadership on strategic discussions.
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts simply and influence non-finance leaders.
- Enjoyment of solving ambiguous problems.
- Thrive operating with high ownership and minimal bureaucracy.
- Demonstrate Loop's cultural defaults: radical ownership, customer obsession, intellectual honesty, urgency, curiosity, and execution discipline.
