About the Role

BGIS Energy & Facility Solutions is seeking a Petroleum Service Technician Apprentice to join their growing team. This role specializes in the maintenance and repair of petroleum equipment, electrical, and fuel management systems for various clients including retail petroleum stations, industrial manufacturing plants, utility providers, transit services, and public works yards.

Responsibilities

  • On the job technical learning, shadowing accredited technicians.
  • Service and maintenance of petroleum equipment, systems, and accessories.
  • Repair and maintain leak detection systems.
  • Build hours towards petroleum technician accreditation.
  • Parts delivery to jobsites.
  • Management and housekeeping of shop and warehouse.
  • Second man / helper duties on service calls under supervision.
  • Maintain professionalism, sensitivity, and tact.
  • Develop independent judgment in solving work problems.
  • Develop strong client relationships.
  • Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure company health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Clean Drivers Abstract and Valid Driver’s License.
  • Possess the physical and mental capabilities to manage multiple tasks at a time.
