About the Role

CODE is seeking a Working Student to join the Business Management & Entrepreneurship (BME) team as a Research Assistant and provide support as a Teaching Assistant for the Orientation Semester. This role involves contributing to the development of a new online journal and assisting students with course content.

Responsibilities

• Research current journals and other publications of applied academic research in product management and entrepreneurship.
• Research technological options for operating an open access online journal.
• Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of meetings, workshops, and events related to the initiative.
• Support the preparation and development of templates for typesetting and layout of academic content.
• Help create a positive learning environment for Orientation Semester students.
• Assist OS students with content and challenges they are struggling with.
• Ensure essential feedback reaches Faculty.

Requirements

• Currently matriculated at CODE, in the BME program.
• Have a registered address in Germany and a German tax number.
• Have the right to work in Germany.
• Have a German bank account.

Skills

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in completing administrative tasks, including document preparation and report generation.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
• Understanding of academic environments and ability to navigate academic policies and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate information clearly and professionally.
• Desire to help fellow students.
