About the Role
Lead the transformation of World of Books into a consumer-focused, product-led business by owning product strategy across Supply, Operations, and Demand flywheels. Drive growth in D2C revenue, implement global pricing transformation, and scale supply products.
Responsibilities
- Setting and communicating a focused product strategy aligned to commercial and operational priorities
- Leading the D2C growth agenda, particularly in the US
- Partnering with Engineering to sharpen delivery cadence and reduce friction
- Leveraging AI tools across the product management and design lifecycle
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of 7
- Translating ambition into actionable roadmaps
- Championing build vs. buy rigour, fast feedback loops, and simplicity
Requirements
- Senior product leadership experience (Head of / Director / VP level) in international environments
- Meaningful US market exposure
- Strong track record in D2C eCommerce or marketplace product
- Experience scaling consumer-grade products at pace
- Ability to set the big picture and get into the detail
- Proven ability to lead through influence
- Building trust quickly with engineering, commercial, and data teams
- Genuine adopter of AI tools in product work
- High EQ
- Strong communication skills
