About the Role
AIT Home Delivery is seeking three (3) professional 2-man delivery teams to support a high-volume home delivery operation servicing Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island, NY. This is a year-round opportunity for established owner operators and delivery businesses looking for consistent work.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain delivery vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Complete residential deliveries throughout Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island.
- Provide professional two-person delivery service at customer locations.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and AIT operations teams.
- Utilize mobile technology and delivery applications to manage routes and delivery documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction.
- Support operational needs as directed while maintaining service and delivery standards.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within scheduled service windows.
Requirements
- 16'-18' box truck with lift gate required
- Reliable helper required (2-man teams only)
- Valid EIN, insurance, and vehicle registration
- DOT/MC authority as required
- Must meet all state and federal compliance requirements
- Pass background, drug, and MVR screenings
- Smartphone proficiency and GPS navigation experience
