About the Role

This role is for a full-time Occupational Therapist on a 1-year contract within the Work, Stress and Health Program at CAMH. The program specializes in assessment and outpatient treatment for individuals with complex concurrent conditions related to workplace accidents and trauma. You will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team, primarily supporting clients referred by the Workers Safety Insurance Board.

Responsibilities

  • Provide client-centered assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services for clients with psychological injuries or substance-related difficulties resulting from workplace accidents.
  • Assess clients' skills and needs, determine treatment readiness, and support its development.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate rehabilitation-based treatment plans.
  • Support clients during treatment and in their return to work.
  • Treat clients in individual and group settings using various psychotherapies.
  • Deliver services virtually and in-person.
  • Support the Clinical Liaison, including report quality assurance and assisting with triage.
  • Submit required reporting on time, meeting assigned quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, WSIB representatives, clinical partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary education and training.
  • Deliver training to external organizations.
  • Contribute to program development opportunities.
  • Support new contracts within the Work Stress and Health program.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
