About the Role

Join the Occupational Therapy and Sensory Service in Ealing, managing a varied caseload and supporting adults to maximize their independence through a strengths-based approach. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working with multidisciplinary professionals to deliver effective, person-centred interventions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a duty caseload, responding to new referrals and urgent assessments.
• Complete functional assessments to identify individuals' needs and promote independence.
• Recommend equipment, minor adaptations and appropriate interventions.
• Work closely with social workers, health professionals and community partners.
• Provide advice and guidance to residents, carers and professionals.
• Complete accurate assessments, reports and case records.
• Prioritise workload effectively while managing competing demands.
• Apply strengths-based practice and relevant legislation within day-to-day decision-making.

Requirements

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience working within Adult Social Care or a community Occupational Therapy service.
• Experience managing a duty or fast-paced occupational therapy caseload.
