About the Role

As the Consumer Marketing Lead for North America, you will accelerate consumer demand across the US and Canada while building a sustainable, world-class brand. You will act as a strategic right-hand to the Head of Marketing for North America, owning the overarching consumer marketing engine and defining a new category of marketplaces. You are a creative marketer who isn't afraid to push boundaries, backed by data fluency and execution. As an exceptional people leader, you will directly manage and mentor a high-performing B2C marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Shape, define, and roll out the comprehensive B2C and brand strategy for North America.
  • Lead the development of consumer-facing content and storytelling, conceptualizing innovative campaigns.
  • Develop, apply, and test growth marketing tactics to optimize user acquisition, frequency, and marketplace density.
  • Directly lead, mentor, and inspire the local B2C team to deliver exceptionally creative and high-quality work.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within your pod, encouraging autonomy, continuous experimentation, and accountability.
  • Deliver outstanding integrated marketing communications across multiple consumer touchpoints.
  • Partner seamlessly within a global matrix organization to obtain support, localize tools, and champion North American innovation.
  • Collaborate with the Partner Marketing team to support co-marketing initiatives.
  • Leverage data, consumer research, and brand tracking metrics to understand consumer segments and optimize marketing activities.
  • Audit campaign health, user lifecycle journeys, and acquisition costs to prioritize high-impact marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in consumer marketing with a proven track record of full-funnel consumer demand generation, acquisition, and retention.
  • Experience within a high-growth app or mobile-first marketplace environment is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of people management experience leading and developing multi-disciplinary marketing teams.
  • Ability to design an overarching brand strategy, align global frameworks, and push teams to deliver boundary-breaking creative work.
  • Strong data-driven mindset with a proven track record of using complex data, market research, and testing frameworks.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with experience navigating global organizations, obtaining stakeholder buy-in, and managing multiple cross-functional relationships.
  • Proven track record of operating in a fast-evolving, high-growth organization, with the ability to prioritize resources and adapt quickly.
