About the Role
Modern Family Law is seeking a hybrid Family Law Associate Attorney for its Austin office. The firm offers a remote-first setting with an option for in-office space, a low billable hours requirement, direct client contact, opportunities to develop litigation skills early, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives.
Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.
- Communicate directly with clients.
- Draft legal documents.
- Handle depositions, court appearances, and mediations.
- Manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Collaborate within a team-oriented setting.
Requirements
- 0-3 years of Family Law experience.
- Experience in Family Law preferred; open to litigation candidates interested in practicing Family Law.
- Active admission to the Texas State Bar.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.
