About the Role

Assists with providing general maintenance and repair to the Clubhouse interior and exterior under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the building in a sanitary manner compliant with New York City Building Department regulations.
• Inspect the Clubhouse and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures.
• Record daily repairs and general maintenance performed.
• Create a calendar for scheduled maintenance repairs and permit renewals.
• Test fire alarm boxes and emergency lighting monthly and track procedures.
• Respond efficiently to emergency maintenance needs including floods, snow removal, and leaks.
• Adhere to the maintenance budget to ensure an appealing Clubhouse internally and externally.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of experience in the maintenance field.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, floor stripping and buffing, and painting.
• Highly motivated and dedicated to the organizational mission.
